Please join us for the first 2018 SC Infant Mental Health Association (SCIMHA) Annual Meeting. This is a huge milestone in the life of SCIMHA, marking the first full year of existence! The SCIMHA Board will provide an update on SCIMHA status, share the Annual Report, and present a slate of Board of Directors nominees for voting.
In addition, DR. TERRIE ROSE (www.drterrierose.com), nationally-renowned speaker, Licensed Psychologist and Wellbeing Advocate, will offer the keynote address. Dr. Rose is the author of the book, Emotional Readiness: How Early Experience and Mental Health Predict School Success, and the professionally designed and center-tested, PLAYbook for Infants and Toddlers.
Dr. Rose is a licensed child psychologist and the founder of Baby’s Space, a full-service child development center located in the heart of Minneapolis’s urban American Indian community.
Because of her initiatives, vision, and national impact, Dr. Rose was selected as a Zero To Three and Ashoka Fellow. She has since received many local and national awards in recognition of her dedication to creating system-changing solutions to the urgent problems impacting young children and families.
Three hours of general CEU credit will be available through USC Continuing Education.
Special thanks to the SC Hospital Association and the Institute for Child Success for their sponsorship of this event.
