The PEAR Network is an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation program.The PEAR Network is a FREE service available to support infants and young children, ages 0-5, in South Carolina.
Is there a child in your classroom who:
- Interferes with your ability to teach effectively?
- Displays behaviors that interfere with his/her or other children’s learning?
- Other parents complain about?
- You find yourself hoping that he/she will be absent?
Has your child:
- Been sent home from childcare due to behaviors?
- Had excessive difficulty separating from you at drop off?
- Displayed behaviors or emotions that you find confusing?
We provide supportive services from early childhood mental health experts in areas such as:
- Child behavior & social emotional issues
- Supporting children during the COVID-19 crisis
- Teacher, Director & Parent support
- Classroom issues
- General stress and coping
- And other concerns related to caring for young children.
The PEAR Network is here to support you during these challenging situations. We are currently offering Tele-Mental Health Consultation (TeleMHC) services.
TeleMHC allows any individuals caring for young children to connect with one of the PEAR Network Mental Health Consultants for a brief consultation.
