This training will provide a deeper look at the protective factors framework and allow for a facilitated discussion with the audience to consider alignment of current program/practices to the protective factors.
Protective factors serve as buffers, helping parents who might otherwise be at risk of abusing their children find resources, supports and coping strategies so that they can parent more effectively, even under stress.
