Diagnosis and Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood (DC: 0-5™)
Dr. Dorinda Williams, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Zero to Three
This session will serve as an overview of DC:0-5™ Diagnosis and classification of mental health and developmental disorders of infancy and early childhood (DC:0-5™) for the purpose of providing a foundational understanding of early childhood mental health disorders and of this revised diagnostic classification system for professionals who work with infants and young children.

1. Endorsement®
Jean Cimino, IMH-E® Infant Mental Health Mentor (Policy)
This break-out session will provide an overview of SCIMHA's premier infant and early childhood workforce professional development program, the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement® (IMH-E® / ECMH-E®). The IMH-E® / ECMH-E® is a competencies-based credential that is open to any professional who provides services to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ages 0-6 years) and their families/caregivers, regardless of scope of practice.
2. Supporting Your Social-Emotional Health During a Crisis
Jessica Sharp and Lucie Maguire, SC Program for Infant and Toddler Care
This training will provide professionals in the field of infant and early childhood mental health with tools to identify the 8 dimensions of well-being. It will cover the concept of resilience and provide strategies for supporting social-emotional well-being and challenging behaviors that may occur due to stress.
3. Diversity Tenets in IECMH
The Tenets Initiative offers workshops to help participants link the Tenets to their spheres of practice by reaching new levels of self-understanding, unpacking programmatic and organizational practices, and analyzing policy efforts to effect change. We start by engaging with a central assumption: we cannot do work in diversity, equity and inclusion without beginning with ourselves.

Reflective Supervision
Dr. Sherry Heller is an applied developmental psychologist and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Tulane University School of Medicine. She has been a fellow in ZERO TO THREE’s Leaders for the 21st Century program and co-edited a book on Reflective Supervision.
Dr. Heller will discuss how Reflective Supervision can support child and family serving professionals to reduce burnout and promote greater sensitivity to clients.

Dr. Shivers is a nationally recognized researcher on issues related to culture, community, and family and child development. This session will focus on how to create culturally responsive and equitable early childhood systems.
