Description: 

  • The goals of this presentation are to: 

    • Highlight the disproportionate representation of very young children among youth with cancer
    • Discuss the importance of early intervention services for young children with cancer, while elucidating one hospital’s approach to this
    • Present specific case examples of family-centered care consistent with infant and early childhood mental health principles

Presenter: 

Jennifer Harman, PhD

Jennifer is a pediatric psychologist, assistant faculty member, and Assistant Director of the Psychology Clinic at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She received her PhD from the University of Florida and specializes in work with very young children and their families.
