South Carolina Infant Mental Health Association's Study Group is a professional development opportunity open to all SCIMHA members.

SCIMHA's study group is an interactive experience that works best when all attendees actively participate. We will join together in a reflective space and will focus on how our work and life experiences relate to the information shared in the professional development offering.

SCIMHA's study group will meet to review the journal Article: Safe Harbor: Use of the Reflective Supervisory Relationship to Navigate Trauma, Separation, Loss, and Inequity on Behalf of Babies and Their Families written by Sarah C. Fitzgibbons, Megan M. Smith & Ashley McCormick.  This study group session will be facilitated by Kristyn Driver, LISW-CP, IMH-E®, SCIMHA's Reflective Supervision Program Manager and Megan Smith, MT-BC, LCAT, IMH-E®SCIMHA's IECMH Training and Reflective Supervision Specialist.

READ THE ARTICLE

*Discussion will focus on Box 1. Applying the (RIOS™) Collaborative Tasks While Working With Infant–Parent Separation in Reflective Supervision/Consultation

Participating in Study Group:

2. Turn your microphone and video camera on for the best interactive discussion experience.

*Time spent at this event counts towards IMH-E® and ECMH-E® training or renewal requirements. We recommend consulting the competency guidelines associated with your Endorsement® category to confirm. Please contact Jean Cimino at endorsement@scimha.org with any questions.
