Please join us on Wednesday, Nov 15th from 2:00-3:30 for our final quarterly DC:0-5 Community of Practice of 2023. The focus will be on a deep dive around the topic of "Cultural Formulation" and considerations of culture when it comes to diagnosing.
If you are a clinician working directly with children and families experiencing mental health and developmental disorders of infancy and early childhood and have taken a 12 hour DC:0-5 manual training, you are welcome to join us.
The community of practice space is for capacity building: we may review practice cases, as well as real cases from group participants. We may also engage in deep dives around DC:0-5 related content including systems and policies.
Megan Smith, LCAT, MT-BC, IMHM-C will facilitate and convene this group. She has been a DC:0-5 trainer since 2019 and brings over 10 years of clinical expertise, with a focus on Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.
Registrants will receive the materials and resources required to guide our discussion and practice upon registration.
Please contact msmith@scimha.org if you are unable to attend but would like to remain on the list for future DC:0-5 Community of Practice events.
